In 2009, the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing (MEDDTL) and the Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME), in consultation with the professional organizations in the sector Of passenger road transport, such as the National Federation of Passenger Transport (FNTV), have drawn up a charter entitled "Charter of voluntary commitments to reduce CO2 emissions"

The CO2 Objective Charter is part of a global approach to fight against climate change and more precisely to reduce CO2 emissions, in line with the conclusions of the Grenelle Environment Forum.

On February 22, 2017, we renewed the signing of the charter Objectif CO2, the carriers undertake, signed for the first time on February 18, 2014. We wanted to integrate our activity into sustainable and reasoned development and be exemplary on the environmental aspect of our operation by being the first passenger road transport operator in the Hautes-Alpes department. The company has signed this charter in order to have its commitment to sustainable development recognized.

For several years, the company has always been looking for the latest equipment to limit its CO2 emissions. The vehicles are recent, which makes it possible to limit the breakdowns, to reduce the consumption of fuel and, consequently, to reduce the CO2 emissions. In addition, consumption monitoring is carried out.

Drivers are trained in eco-driving. This allows a more flexible driving and ultimately saves fuel and therefore reduces CO2 emissions.

Administrative staff have been made aware of sustainable development. It is committed to eco-responsible behavior in its work, which will reduce the consumption of energy (water, electricity) and paper.

Finally, reducing our CO2 emissions means improving the image of the road transport of people but also respecting our planet. This commitment is signed for a period of 3 years and allows:

  • Establish an initial baseline inventory and retain an engagement perimeter.
  • Define environmental performance indicators and quantify a reduction target to be achieved.
  • Define an action plan with at least one action per axis (vehicle, fuel, driver and organization / management) in order to achieve the target.
  • Implement and monitor action plans.
  • Send ADEME a progress report of the action plan every period.
  • The logo opposite is affixed on each of our vehicles.
